GENERAL GUIDELINES

This page outlines important school policies and expectations related to attendance, communication, holidays, and student activities. It serves as a guide for parents and students to stay informed and aligned with the school’s standards and procedures.

Attendance & Absence

Students are expected to attend school regularly and be present for the morning assembly. Punctuality is essential. If a student is late for three consecutive days, the class teacher will contact the parents for an explanation.

  1. Minimum Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for all students.
  2. Reporting Absence: In case of illness or other reasons, parents must inform the school at the earliest. On return, students must bring a written note or update their school diary with the reason for absence.
  3. Medical Absence: For health-related absences, a medical certificate from a qualified doctor (preferably the treating physician) is required.
  4. Attendance Monitoring: If a student’s attendance drops below 70% without valid reason, parents will be contacted.

Holidays & Academic Calendar

A detailed list of holidays, examinations, and school events is available in the Academic Calendar on the school website. Students and parents are encouraged to check the calendar regularly to stay informed.
